Are there any Asian creatives/writers on your team
In July of 2024 we brought on Dr. Emma Yasui from the University of Toronto in the Department of Anthropology. Besides her work as a teacher or on archeological sites, she’s also in recent years begun to work as a cultural and sensitivity consultant in the gaming space. Not only that, but she’s also a skilled writer who has worked with other game publishers (such as her work in the Tian Xia World Guide produced by Pathfinder earlier this year).
Dr.Emma started her role as a consultant for Obojima Tales From The Tall Grass, but has since moved into a lead creative position. Helping our small writing team and giving guidance and ideas that shaped our newest project Obojima Tales From Yatamon.
Dr.Emma has been nothing but Overall an absolute pleasure to work with and has been invaluable to the team.

I backed in the first 72 hours; how do I collect my free miniature
We have you covered! You don’t have to worry about anything. We will take care of everything on our end.
Just a quick heads up: if you happen to edit your pledge, no worries! The timestamp won’t change. However, if you cancel your pledge, it will be deleted, and you might miss out on the D20 offer.

What will the DM screen display
Half of the DM side of the screen will feature a handful of basic information from standard D&D rules, such as conditions, item hp/ac, falling speeds, and a few other things.
The other half will be quick references to the new mechanics found in Obojima such as potion brewing, weapon mechanics, familiars, and more.

What is the Vending Machine in the Vending Machine Dice Set
The Vending machine is a box made out of heavy-duty cardboard with a water-resistant coating. Kind of like a baby board game box.

How Many People are needed to play Obojima
Obojima is best for 4-6 players (the recommended D&D party size). However, that is not to say that Obojima cannot be enjoyed as a solo adventure or as a larger group.
Yanari the Wiches Market is intended to played with 2-4 players.

Where do I purchase Add-Ons
It’s quite straightforward! Once you’ve selected a tier during checkout, you have the option to include add-ons. And don’t worry if you didn’t choose them initially – you can easily add them later by clicking on ‘manage your pledge’ and then ‘change your pledge.’

When will I be charged
Once the Kickstarter campaign ends, Kickstarter will automatically charge the payment method you selected when you made your pledge. If for any reason the initial payment fails, Kickstarter will make additional attempts to charge your account over the next two weeks.
If you’ve chosen a physical reward, please keep in mind that you’ll be responsible for covering shipping (view our estimated shipping prices) and any applicable sales tax. The exact amount will vary depending on the items you’ve ordered, your location, and the applicable sales tax rates in your area. These costs will be charged to your card once you finish your reward survey, which is expected to be sent to you 2-3 months after the Kickstarter ends.

Will There be a Pledge Manager
This time around we will be using Kickstarter’s pledge manager, which means you won’t need to use a different account to track and manage your pledge. You can do so directly though your Kickstarter account.

Is this Studio Ghibli
No. This is not Studio Ghibli content, it is simply inspired by the world. While the world is influenced by well-loved themes and characters from Studio Ghibli movies, there are no direct references.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
